Each moment is an opportunity for the One to touch your world

ABOUT THIS EPISODE

Welcome to week forty-five. This week, Jun invites David to remember the sacred trust of life mission, and that each moment is an opportunity to embody our greatness.

Excerpt:

Jun stopped in front of me. He looked for a moment at Verity, still sitting next to me, then looked directly into my eyes. “When you return to the horizontal world,” he said, “remember that your life mission is a sacred trust and spiritual practice. Your work this twilight morning in Caravan and for eternity is always this. Remember as you work with your campfire. Remember as you move through your days in the horizontal world. Each moment is the opportunity to embody your greatness. Each moment is a container of Divine intent, an opportunity for the One to touch your world, to breathe eternity into a moment.”

I looked into Jun’s eyes as he spoke. Then he went silent, and I returned to the deep inner listening. I could hear Verity calling in my head and heart. “Go deeper . . . include everything . . .”

Welcome to Caravan Conversations. Hi Carissa, Hi James, Welcome to week. This week, June invites David to remember the sacred trust of life mission and that each moment is an opportunity to embody our greatness. June stopped in front of me. He looked for a moment at verity still sitting next to me, then looked directly into my eyes. When you return to the horizontal world, he said, remember that your life mission is a sacred trust and spiritual practice. Your work this twilight morning in caravan and fre eternity is always this. Remember as you work with your campfire. Remember as you move through...

...your days in the horizontal world. Each moment is the opportunity to embody your greatness. Each moment is a container of divine intent, an opportunity for the one to touch your world, to breathe eternity into a moment. I looked into June's eyes as he spoke. Then he went silent, and I returned to the deep inner listening. I could hear Verity calling in my heart and head go deeper. Include everything that is a an interesting and a challenging exert for me to work my way through this week. It's exciting in the sense that the One enters into form through me, through me, through the expression that I am of the One. It flips what It actually flips the language...

...flips it because I say, I'm the expression of the One, but the One is coming into form through me. And remembering that, remembering the One who sent me is what Daniel talks about. Remembering the One who sent you was the first aspect of your life. Mission is just to remember and then remember that you are here with something that you came here to do. Remember. I love the one about what was packed in my bags because when I think of what was packed in my bags, it right away says, Oh, you're here with your talents and your gifts and show up with the show up to the fullness of your being, the essence of who you are, and in doing that you bring your gift to the world, and through that gift is also the One. It's your soul's gift. It's your gift. It's your gift to the world. It's what the world is calling for right now. It's for each of us to show up, to remember that we're...

...here to show up to the best of our abilities here, remembering that what's in front of us right now is our life's mission. Whether it's family or work or gardening or paddling or whatever, it is. What's the manner which that I'm showing up to this? And when I go that way, it becomes exciting and interesting to me that and very curious about, Okay, what's showing up next for me? When I just read it as a sacred trust and a spiritual practice, that says, oh my God, what does that mean to me? A sacred trust? How can I possibly live up to that sacred trust? But when I look at it as showing up in the fullness of my being, with everything that was packed in my bag and just showing up every time and remembering the one who sent me, that's another that's...

...a nicer way for me to work with this excerpt for this scale this week? How is this for you? Carissa? This was a really interesting one because I felt a shift in how I was reading this. There was a time when I read this and it just felt so huge, But this time, perhaps similar to you, I felt a gentleness with it. And I was focusing a lot on greatness, on the line around living into your greatness. And what came to me this time is that actually it was an image of like a very small wild flower in a huge field of wild flowers living into her greatness, living into its greatness, and just the tenderness of that, and the beauty of that that everything my ego thinks greatness is is probably...

...not what is meant. Here is where I went like, I just felt this falling away of what a part of me has defined before is greatness. And Okay, I know I'm going to live into my greatness. And it actually feels much more quiet right now. It feels more subtle, I guess, but also just um, including all of me in that. There's a wholeness in that. There's a a sacredness like you were saying in that. So I actually this one it just felt like a nice bomb. I was feeling a little under the weather this week when I read it. I um, I actually felt really soothed by it, which was a nice experience. The greatness part was the one that that a part of me said, I wanted to go out and say, stand on the mountaintop and yell at everyone.

You know that this is this is the greatness that you see before you. He says, Oh no, that's not me. And I like the the image of the wild flower in the field of wildflowers all showing up like That's why I use the words showing up, is when I show up. A lot of the greatness for me is is showing up, being seen and seeing others, so that each one of the wild flowers in the field is aware of all the other wild flowers in the field, and each one is beaming in that sense their greatness out into the world and being received. That's the other part, right, is to be received by the world as well, in your in the fullness of your being, in the wholeness that you are, in the greatness. So when I use the words wholeness and fullness for as pointing to greatness, then it does because it does become calm and...

...a balmb and. It sues my soul and it says, you got this, you know you got this. Just show up, show up as the best you can show up in this moment, the best Carissa, the best James, and the best, the best whoever we are right, the best in this moment, and a key there feels like the in this moment, eternity coming into form in this moment. I've been having conversations with my son lately where he'll ask who do you love more? Or he asked me who do you love more? Mommy, yourself or me? Uh, And the other day it was who do you who loves you? Know? It's like, yeah, so I said to him. Love isn't really like that. Love of is in the moment. Love goes where it needs to go in...

...the moment. And sometimes I need to be loving myself, and sometimes it's you, and sometimes it's both of us. And when we love another it overflows to ourselves as well. So I'm trying to explain to the six year old how much happens and flows through in a moment, and I'm just reminded of that in this conversation. It's like greatness in this moment will look very different than greatness in another moment. And sometimes it's a big sound and it's a yelling on a mountaintop and sometimes it's it's that gentleness and it's quiet that's really beautiful. Thank you, thank you too. Okay, bye for now. Bye.
